New Writers Forums We have launched our new Writers Groups Forums, thank you to everyone who provided feedback and continue to give us ideas on how to improve.
I bought a book by Mayra Calvani for children, called, The Magic Violin. As an author writing for children I'm always looking to see what other authors are doing as well as how the book is produce. I am real impressed with Mayra's book.
I've mainly been reading books about publishing, printing and starting a business since my plans are to produce my own books. What have you been reading?
Jan,
Basically just ask questions or submit a blog on a subject that you're interested about. Regarding my Children's Books group, why not submit a book to the group that you have read that you think the other members of that group would like to read.
Well usually the first thing that is done in a forum such as this is to ask more questions to see if anyone has interest or possible answers to the issue.
So I think I will get the ball rolling here. Many new writers often ask me where do I get my inspiration? So lets start with that question.
Where does a new writer,a potential professional if you will get inspiration for putting words to paper?
Our children and the world around us seem to ooze with inspiration.
Childhood memories rekindled by young inquisitive minds asking whatever comes to mind, and their responses to life, along with my imagination, all tend to be combined into my work somewhere.
And I guess in answer to the original post, we should all be inspiring one another.

We have five grandchildren and one on the way in a couple of days. They provide all the inspiration that I need.
