Description
At a church gathering, a mysterious illness attacks over one-fourth of the congregation, stopping efforts to kick off a new building program. Evidence leads the pastor to suspect that someone intentionally poisoned the congregation at a fund-raising dinner, but the police are slow to believe him. Suspects develop both inside and outside the congregation, while vandalism and ultimately murder drive the pastor to become a reluctant sleuth, placing him in peril of his life.
