Description

Historical mystery. Crafted for a royal Egyptian tomb, golden treasure is unearthed 4000 years later in a Minoan village covered in volcanic ash. The jubilant archaeologist dies within the hour. What happened to the Minoans on this island in the Aegean before and after this Bronze-Age geologic madness, the second greatest volcanic eruption in history? Who killed the professor?

Will It Ever ReOpen?

Will tourists ever again gaze in wonder at the Bronze-Age ruins of Akrotiri on Santorini?

With the fatal collapse of the newly-remodeled roof structure on September 23, 2005, more than one death and six injured tourists struck a real-life Greek tragedy.

The world may never know the physical extent of the Minoan village waiting to be excavated, the treasures these ancient stuctures might yield, and perhaps greater truth about the fate of the indigenous population.

"Cataclysm in Blue Water" transports the reader back to the year 1994, and to the original tin-canopy roof of Akrotiri.
