With frightening parallels to today's headlines, Class of '68 tells the effects of an unpopular war on three young Americans during one of the most tumultuous years of the twentieth century, 1968.
The Class of ’68 follows the lives of young Americans during one of the most tumultuous years of the Twentieth Century, 1968. Dealing with an unpopular war in a far off land, the novel offers frightening parallels to today’s readers concerned about our war in Iraq. The novel follows Tim Cooper, a soldier in Vietnam and two people waiting for his return, his brother Kevin and anti-war activist Sarah Johnson. Their lives are intertwined amid war, romance, violence in the streets, racial tensions, assassinations and the presidential campaign of Robert Kennedy.
