Creations tells the story of Ivonna, a young woman who grows up in the streets of the Mydean capital city of Airendor. At a young age, Ivonna is recruited by Prince Vhaugn to become a member of The Death Shadows, an organization of spies and assassins that the King of Mydea sanctioned for the purpose of providing security for his nation. When she's on the final trial to earn the rank of Death Shadows Assassin, she encounters an ancient enemy of Mydea, Lameer. He captures Ivonna and magically alters her mind and body to effect revenge against the king and queen of Mydea that he has sought for many years. He magically weaves new memories into her mind, while turning her into a psychic vampire. When he's finished with her, she believes the King and Queen of Mydea ordered the death of her father. Using her training as an assassin, she penetrates the Mydean flying palace and assassinates the King and Queen. The story then follows her mission as she is sent undercover to the neighboring nation of Truchenvale to locate the man who is believed to have been the assassin. On the mission, her life becomes increasingly complicated with both feelings of guilt over her actions and a newfound psychic hunger that is rooted deep in her mind and linked to a decision she made while under Lameer's influence. Even as she attempts to cope with her emotions and control her own destiny, the political climate of the world is set asunder when she uncovers a secret Truchenvale plot to invade Mydea. Ivonna must ultimately decide whether to accept the consequences of her treachery and stay true to the oath she gave Prince Vhaugn, or yield to Lameer's mental and emotional onslaught to escape with her freedom.
