Description
This book is used for educating and training caregivers taking care of people with Alzheimer's in long term care or at home. For family members who need to understand what's happening to their loved ones this is a very good book. A great ice breaker at Alzheimer's support groups. The author has experience as a CNA in long term care and spent 10 years taking care of her father. She was awarded 2004 Nurse Aide from Iowa Health Care Assoication and 2006 Professional Caregiver by the Alzheimer's Association. She is a volunteer in the Outreach program for the Alzheimer's Association and does presentations in her area to educate and create awareness about Alzheimer's disease.
