Description
This story is about life and the decisions we make along the way. The man in this short story is on his way to a job interview. It's the first one he's had since he was laid off a year ago. He already knows that the traffic is going to make him late when he discovers the reason for the delay. The woman who is stranded at the side of the road clearly needs help and no one has even noticed her. The simple act of helping affects him more than he ever would have imagined.
