Biography

I was born in Liverpool in 1964 and left in 1990 after graduating as a librarian at Liverpool Polytechnic. I moved to Bristol shortly after to work, intending to stay only six months to gain work experience, but then I met my future husband Keith and we were married in 1993. Twenty years down the line I'm still there, but I go home to Liverpool often. I now work as a contractual librarian, and a health care assistant and clerical officer at the local hospital staff bank. Sadly I have no children of my own, but through my writing I have created my own little family.

Inspiration

In my early days I was inspired by the works of Enid Blyton, but I soon came to realise she was out of date. Now I enjoy books by Liverpool writers such as Lyn Andrews, Anne Baker, Katie Flynn, Helen Forrester and Maureen Lee.
