Biography

Brit Sigh obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska. An avid reader, his favorite genres are suspense, thriller, mystery, crime, sci-fi, and graphic novels. He writes within these same genres as well. As a kid, aside from reading his favorite authors, Mary Higgins-Clark, Agatha Christie, and Lois Duncan, Brit read comic books. He also comes from a large family–two sisters and four brothers–and his parents remain happily married to this day. He lives in Chicago, Illinois with his dog, Raven, who is an all black Puggle who snores and also likes Dean Koontz.

Inspiration

"I got the idea for the story when I was earning a degree in psychology, while I was taking course in abnormal psychology," first-time author Brit Sigh said. "My parents had adopted twins and I thought about a story in which one was normal and the other was a sociopath. But then I remembered my favorite novel, All Around the Town, by Mary Higgins-Clark. I knew then I had to change the twin brothers into one person with conflicting personalities fighting for control of the body." Other major writing influences are Deen Koontz, James Patterson and Lois Duncan.
