Biography

Born on January 17, 1977, and the oldest of three children, Christie was a child obsessed with books. You never caught her without a book in her hands. She excelled as a student, with multiple awards for higher academics throughout her school years. Christie has always loved books and the written language. She devours every book that crosses her path and begs for more. However, it wasn't until the age of 29 that she discovered her love of writing. She started out with web content articles before making her way on to a short, humorous parenting book (Toddler Logic: 50 Things That Your Toddler Wants You to Know, Out of Print). After that, she decided to jump into a genre that she has always been in love with: the paranormal! That's when A Midnight Infatuation was born. It was soon followed by A Birth at Dawn and A Twilight Abduction--all in the Alex & Fiona series. Christie has numerous projects in the works and has declared that she has enough book ideas to last her for several years to come. It appears that there will be many more paranormal novels in her future. Here's hoping that imagination never wanes. Christie is very personable and has been more than happy to do any interview that has been requested of her. She loves her fans and thoroughly enjoys speaking with them whenever she gets the chance. She also enjoys writing her personal blog and socializing on Facebook. You can find Christie's books at places like Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million, her own website (you can get autographed copies!), and at many other bookstores all around the world. Christie resides in north Georgia with her husband, their three daughters, four dogs, nine chickens, and numerous outside cats. No, it's not a farm, but it feels like a funny farm from time to time. She likes to spend her spare time wondering when she'll actually have spare time to spare.

Inspiration

Ahhh, my inspirations. Well, my family for one. If it hadn't been for my three daughters I wouldn't have even thought to write my first book. I've always wanted to write a book. I've always enjoyed reading. So it was just a matter of time before my dreams would materialize in the form of published work. :-)
