Biography

I was born, raised and live in the mountains of Northeast Alabama. My writing draws much from my experience of growing up here during the fifties,and sixties. I spent some time in the US Army, where I traveled quite a bit.I love all sports and outdoor activities. The woods in autumn is a nice place to be.

Inspiration

I'm inspired by much of the experiences I mentioned in my bio, but sometimes by things so minute that it would be easy to miss them. Sometimes just a word, sometimes a phrase that I heard and remembered. Sometimes, something that I saw firsthand and at times something that was related to me by someone else. I've been many places and met many people and I gotten ideas from a lot of them, people and places. I like writing about nature and it's not hard being inspired by it.
