Biography

I write speculative fiction and I recently signed multiple book contracts with SynergEbooks Publishing. I currently have several titles in print and/or in eBook format. These include Desert Magick: Superstitions - an award-winning paranormal fantasy for adults, The Teadai Prophecies trilogy - Deadly Fate, Sage Truth and City of Gods, my young adult fantasy Breach of Worlds, and my award-winning young adult novel The Mask of Tamirella. My teen sci-fi audio and eBook Quest for Freedom and the first two books in my Desert Magick paranormal series are scheduled for 2010 releases. After spending most of my life in the entertainment industry (you can catch me in various episodes of Rags to Riches and some very bad movies and cable shows that shall remain unnamed), I decided to make a career change and become a full-time writer. For some reason, the fact that I once worked at Disneyland seems to intrigue people. Boy, do I have stories! I now live in the Arizona desert with my very supportive husband, our insane parakeets, and numerous wild critters that frequent our neighborhood. I'm currently working on another novel. Inspiration

I find other writers and artists a well of inspiration. Several of my novels got their initial spark from paintings/drawings/photographs. One of my latest novel projects was actually inspired by a dream. I dreamed the entire first chapter and knew it was something I needed to begin. I've lived near the Pacific Ocean and now in the desert and both places have earned my awe and captured my imagination. I've traveled to various places on this great planet and never leave without some new inspiration. My husband inspires me every day and I thank him for that.
