Biography
To expand upon the shorter version... Donna D. Fontenot grew up in a typical Cajun family that focused on good food and good fun. After graduating from LSU with a degree in English Education, she promptly decided to focus instead on her love to computer technology. She moved to Northern California where she spent many years learning to program and develop websites. Eventually, she returned to Louisiana where she made a living blogging and running various online businesses. Her first novel, The Grave Blogger, was born from her love of great mysteries and her fascination with the twisted mechanisms of criminal minds. Drawing upon her own experiences as a blogger and native of Louisiana, she brings this all together as she weaves captivating tales of suspense and intrigue set in the bayous of Louisiana.
Inspiration
Many authors influenced me but I think my style probably derives from the likes of a combination of the richness of Anne Rice and the intrigue of James Patterson.
