Biography

The author spent his childhood in a carefree, very secular home/exclusive boarding school environment. This was to aid him much in his later years while searching for That Which Is. In his youthful years, the author experimented with many a fancy, including taking up an army officer's career; abandoning the former and making short films; as also trying his hand at poetry. During this time, he had the opportunity to spend some time in London, Mumbai and Delhi. Beckoned into mysticism, the author's mystical experiences between 1990-94, changed his perspective about how he looked at life and death. After many a spiritual adventure, getting what he sought, still in his thirties, the author took on the mantle of a free mystic after the Christmas of 1997. Since then, Fakeer Ishavardas has written more than 30 metaphysical books in English, Hindi and Punjabi. Now, the author writes in English only.
