Biography

I live in Yorkshire in the UK in a very rural area where I grow fruit and vegetables. In my spare time I like to read, listen to music and watch the birds landing on my feeders. Writing is no longer a love it is a passion that drives me to the state whereby I need to start a new project shortly after finishing the present one. I write mostly about what I enjoy reading, adventures set in different times be it past, present or future. I am a member of The Society of Authors, The International Thriller Writers and the Crime Writers Association and if I could make more time would probably belong to more. As well as my novels, which I write with my partner David Coles, I also write occasional shorts and serials these can all be found on everettcoleswritings.com

Inspiration

Born and raised in an age before TV reading was the only thing I found I enjoyed but it took my becoming a father to become an author. My son-now dead, God bless him- used to ask me to tell him stories. When I ran out of ones I had read I made up my own. My wife said they were so good I should write them down and that was the start of my writing.
