Biography

I know that I am supposed to write this part in the third person so that you won’t think it is me, but I don’t want to follow the rules. Hi! I’m Joel Wilson and the author of this book, Rescue of the Heart. I apologize that I don’t have the initials after my name that would represent my level of education. I did attend some college where I studied British Literature and English Composition, but due to a misfortunate event in my life, I ran out of money and could no longer afford college. That, however, has not derailed my desire to write. It seems to be the one thing I do best; of course you will be the judge of that and I will value your opinion deeply. I was born in Little Rock, Arkansas where lived most of my life. Thank God I finally met my wife on a trip to Denver, Colorado and that is where I now reside. My wife is Tina and she is my inspiration; the love of my life. All our children have left the nest and now we have two dogs that we call our kids. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I hope you like the book.

Inspiration

I've known that I could write since I was in high school, but I didn't really do anything with it until I was in my 50's and I began seriously thinking about retirement. So, one day I was in town and looking for something that would inspire me. Downtown Denver revovles around the 16th Street Mall and that is where I was. I sat on a bench studying the many people and observing the surroundings. It was a lovely fall afternoon. Leaves in the trees along the mall were changing color and decorating the tile surface of the mall. In my mind I moved the mall to a fictional town in Nova Scotia and began writing what I saw. The end result of that is "Rescue of the Heart" which I have just submitted to Createspace and Amazon to be published in print and digital. During this time I also developed a blogsite @ http://considerthisimaginethat.blogspot.com/ This site has no specific subject that I claim to be all-knowing about. Rather I just write about what's on my mind. There is also a sister site where I mirror the first site @ http://joelwilson.wordpress.com/ My website is also two-fold.
