Biography

Raised in the Pacific Northwest by a family of science fiction lovers, Justin Wilkerson developed his fascination with science early in life. A Meteorologist by education, he took up writing as a hobby while at university. His other hobbies include running a forecasting blog for the Portland area, creating the occasional video, and learning new software. Attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, receiving his B.S. in Meteorology in 2010. Truly finds nearly all physical sciences to be interesting. He is also a devout Christian and strives to find a balance between faith and science.

Inspiration

My inspiration begins with my faith in Christ. As a follower I seek to understand the gifts God has given me. While I was working towards my career goal as a Meteorologist I decided to try my hand at writing, something I always seemed to be good at throughout my schooling. The other half of my inspiration comes from my love of science and science fiction. I am a geek at heart. I love stories with space exploration and battles, futuristic societies and technology, but I also love fantasy. Dragons, swords, magic, it is all equally exciting.
