Biography

Karen is a writer living in the Midwest. She has finished one co-authored novel and is working on another. She has also finished a solo project for young readers. Her interests are family, reading, writing, politics, fishing and travel. She spent a number of years in various bands and has written and recorded songs, an experience she thoroughly enjoyed. Her writing can be viewed on Associated Content, Adventures for the Average Woman, Foliate Oak Literary Journal and Ehow.

Inspiration

Authors like JRR Tolkien, Dean Koontz, Stephen King, and Jennifer Schute. Plus I have loved reading since I first learned how as a child because reading takes you away to other places and times.
