Biography

I am Managing Director of Writing In Motion, LLC, a web-based publishing company. WIMLLC specializes in eBook and web content creation with social media integration. My book, Until the Sun Comes Up: Cheryl's Song, is a Christian fiction novel detailing the coming of age story of Cheryl Fields, a college senior who finds faith in Jesus while involved in the deeply entrenched Greek pledging culture. After receiving a bachelor's degree in Psychology and my M.B.A., I went on to a career in mortgage finance In 2008, I pursued my passion for writing, first by obtaining an M.A. in Interactive Journalism from American University School of Communication, a pioneer in web-based journalism and interactive digital media. Inspiration

I was inspired by my experiences pledging a Black Greek fraternity and the views so many in my culture have of women as objects and men as one-dimensional. I decided to write a book in a woman's voice that would help both sexes understand one another from a Biblical viewpoint. Actually, I began writing and the female character, Cheryl Fields, took over. Like becoming a new Christian, the hazing endured in the Black Greek pledge tradition is a once-in-a-lifetime experience never forgotten.
