Biography

I was born and raised in Ames, Iowa and attended Iowa State University, earning a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. I have made my home in California since 1996 and spend as much time as possible writing and traveling.

Inspiration

My travels to such disparate disparate countries as Bhutan, Peru, and South Korea have heavily influenced my writing. Learning about different cultures and meeting people all over the world is a major source of inspiration.
