Biography

Laura Wright, now writing as L. Chambers-Wright, has been a professional writer since 1993. She has held nearly every position imaginable in writing and has had three traditionally published novels. Her published works are: *While I'm Dying (2001) *Timeslips & Terrors (2005) *Virginia Creeper (2007) Currently, Wright is exploring the world of independent publishing and has produced numerous novellas and shorter works which are available for free at her Smashwords publisher page. Her books can also be found at the Amazon Kindle Store as well as Barnes and Noble's Nook Store. Wright is currently performing the final edit on another novel and has several more waiting to be finalized. Her next novel will be independently published, as well. Inspiration

I have been writing nearly as long as I've been reading, so inspiration has came (and still comes) from a plethora of places. Newspapers, folklore, mythology, the world is a place of inspiration. I love researching almost as much as writing and that's a dangerous distraction which often takes a greater portion of my writing time than I'd like. I would side with Poe in that, "The plots of God are perfect, the Universe is a plot of God."
