Biography

Author Bio: Born and raised in Southern California. Graduated in 1969, where I enlisted in the Army right out of high school. Have three younger sisters, one older brother. My dad passed away while I was in the service. My mom now lives with one of my sisters. I voleentered for Airborne training. Was very gung-ho at the early age of nineteen. Went to Vietnam from 1969 to 1970. I became point man for my platoon, in the jungles of Vietnam. When I came back, I didn't realize that the war would have any affect on my life, but it did. I was diagnose of having PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder.) In fact one of the stories in the book, is a true account of my tour in Nam. The rest of the stories are actural nightmares of mine, probably was contributed by the War. I am being helped by the VA. Taking group therapy and one on one therapy, along with anger management, cognitive thinking, depression & stress classes.

Inspiration

My main inspiration was to write about my experiences in Vietnam. And hoping to help other Vets from the last passage at the end of the story. Also I've had bad nightmares, I use to write down as soon as I woke out of it. one or two am, didn't matter. I had to write it while it was clear in my head. Created them into some type of story form.
