Biography

Born and raised in Illinois, now in St. Louis, MO. Like living the suburban life in the Midwest with husband, 2 kids, dog and cat. Keep very busy with my hands in all sorts of pies. Half-Japanese and love learning and reading about history and all different cultures.

Inspiration

My high school comp teacher, who did not like me much, thought I had writing talent. Also had a great grammar teacher - like a drill sergeant she was. I love to write perfectly edited emails and business letters, but my mother's life story started me on the trip to write an educational memoir, now in its second edition (perfected, I hope, for elementary and middle school kids).
