Biography

Hi, I'm Cory Clark, an average teenager from Liberty, Illinois. I have a passion for creativity and the different. My life as just your basic teenager in high school wasn't enough for me, so I took up writing as one of my main hobbies. I've been good with words as long as I can remember. I've stunned my classmates with my skills all throughout school and now I've put those skills to the test with my very own novel! Living in this small town hasn't gave me the best experience. Alot of these kids around here do nothing with themselves other than lounge around. I didn't want to, no, REFUSED to become that. I wanted to push myself to the limit in making what I can of myself. Some might call me a workaholic, but I'm alot more laid-back that what people realize. I love my work and always have fun doing it. I always listen to my music when I write, and sometimes, even play with my dog or friends while working on ideas for my novel. On top of trying to make it big as a writer, I'm also working towards becoming a DJ. DJ Angelight is what my friends know me by, and though I've only started setting myself up for music creation, I'm getting there. Needless to say, I keep myself busy during the day.

Inspiration

My only inspiration is my active mind and my love for a change of life. Sometimes, daydreaming during that long class lecture in school or during that long car trip with your family isn't exactly a bad thing! My first novel trilogy came from my daydreams put on paper. Slowly, piece by piece, my novel evolved from that daydream into what it is now. Everyone needs a change here and there, a different slice of life, and that's what I tried my best to make. Different world, different friends, different life in all. That's what I wanted to make. Everyone needs a break from the same old same old once in a while!
