Biography

I have been writing science fiction stories and poetry for most of my life. I am currently taking a BA Degree in History. I have traveled widely, but my favorite locations are Italy and Canada. I saved up to travel on the last cruise of the QE2 because I wanted that memory, missed the Concord though. I seek out archaeological digs during my travels along with other historical sites. I am divorced and have one wonderful son who currently lives with me. My poetry has been published in several UK anthologies of New English Poets and my first SF novel (The Cortex) will go on sale online during August 2012.

Inspiration

I have been deeply inspired by the classic science fiction of the golden age of SF, Asimov, Dickson, Herbert, Schmitz, Silverberg the list goes on. A lot of my early poetry was influenced by Rimbaud and Baudelaire, Shelley & Keats. I am also inspired by music and films, in particular The Doors, The Crow, and all the 1950's SF movies.
