Biography

Richard Diedrichs remembers writing a short story in elementary school about a ghost in a closet. A few decades later, he got his first story accepted for publication in a literary journal. Neither Coming Nor Going is his premiere novel. As he was writing fiction, Richard edited magazines in Seattle and taught elementary school in the San Francisco Bay Area. He, his wife, Sharon, and dog, Nikoa, live on the Big Island of Hawaii. Richard is a Buddhist Dharma Teacher with the Hawaii Island Meditation Ohana.

Inspiration

I am inspired by artists with a forceful, unique voice, who create over time, such as Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Philip Roth and Peter Matthiessen.
