Biography

Teena Richardson was born in Saginaw, Michigan. She started acting, motivational speaking and writing at a young age and has since written two books, her first was "Marriage Views", which demonstrated that a better marriage was possible through God. Her second book, "Learning To Date From Other People's Mistakes" was written to give singles the tools to eventually turn a dating relationship into a life-time commitment. She has also written numerous speeches, plays, dramatic monologues and performed at many special events. She has been a writer and Christian for over twenty-five years and now resides in Orlando, Florida, with her husband and two children.

Inspiration

She started speaking and writing about single issues when she noticed many individuals from church were struggling with the dating process. She had spoken on many occasions to groups of women within the church about relationships. After speaking, She became a magnet for people who felt comfortable sharing their dating experiences with her. She was asked for godly advice which seemed to unlock the hope of finding a good relationship. She believes when dating, too many mistakes are made upfront that cause the relationship to be doomed before it even starts. Once the relationship is over, people usually left scratching our heads, wondering what went wrong. Writing about relationships have taught me a few things: a) a person could learn many things from watching others, b) people can easily see the mistakes of others, but blindly ignore their own, c) people are looking for good relationships, but have doubts that it could ever happen, and d) it was time for me to scream from the mountaintop that a good relationship was possible through God.
